letter, overhere.
Steam Roller or ПАРНИ ВАЉАК is nickaname for the Partizan sports association, from Belgrade Serbia, mostly for the football/soccer club,
It rolled up, straight from the 70's, to the fame , even it was featured rolling with the fans, on the stadium of the black-white Belgrade giant itself, as you can see on the picture, also in the anthem of the club is mentioned.
Why do I write about this, now?
Well, just to point out that 2008. season was for the 4 major team sports in which Partizan competes : football, basketball, ice hockey, and waterpollo, magnificent for the club and the fans , we won all off them, championships and the national cups. And currently we are at the top in the 2008/ 2009 Serbian season in the same sports. Our major rivals were beaten on a numerous occasions, too, to make it more delightfull.
I mean for Partizan. Loyal Partizan fans, nicknamed the gravediggers, are mostly indentifying with the club successes, so I state "we", sometimes, although it is not adviseable, if I want my peace of mind.
This blog, as I said before in the less worldly popular letter , is mostly dedicated to the club that I support, and that is Partizan, of course.
I myself am of an european serbian slavic origin, born in Belgrade Serbia, so I try to write from my perspective.
